Cozy motel-in-the-countryside vibes, but the room (suite) interior is incredibly nice. Biggest shower I've seen so far in New Zealand, comfy beds, modern kitchenette, and spacious room. Top notch lodging in the Twizel area.

Don’t judge a book by its cover !  This place is great.  I stayed in a recently renovated home and it’s just as nice as any four star hotel room.  Great amenities , clean bathroom, super comfortable bed , quality bedding and a Nespresso machine !   Warren , the proprietor, was super friendly. The place caters to cyclists doing the A2O. Wonderful newly renovated immaculately clean and spacious room. Very nice large shower and bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen. Coffee machine and plunger. Guests can use the laundry and they even have clean rags to use on boots and bikes. Everything you could need. Friendly owners. Good spot to stay for Mt Cook. Highly recommend!

Don’t let the word ‘motel’ put you off, this is an incredible place to stay! We stayed in a superior studio and were lost for words at how nice it was. It had been recently refurbished to a very high standard, the room was super comfortable, really tastefully decorated & had a fully equipped kitchen. We arrived under difficult circumstances (our van broke down) and Warren couldn’t have been more helpful when we walked in asking for a room the next night. Warren went over & above to make us feel welcome and at ease after a difficult 24 hours, and even allowed us to store our (many!) bags before & after our stay which helped us out massively. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance. Friendly and accommodating service. Bike friendly, including ebikes. Short walk to town centre as there is no restaurant. However, walk across the street, and there are food vans with takeaways.
